Henderson Gets Injury Report

The latest news from the Byram Stars clubhouse is this: reliever Andrew Henderson is expected to be out of action for another 13 months. He has a torn ulnar collateral ligament, sustained on 05/01/2015. Henderson expressed a bit of relief. "At least now I know," he said.
This year Henderson has no saves, totaled 12.1 innings, allowed 7 base hits and fashioned a 2.92 ERA while racking up 8 strikeouts and a record of no wins and no losses.

What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything.
The numbers that Annapolis's Héctor Ortega put up last week were the envy of the league, as Ortega came away with Sub League 2 Player of the Week honors.
He belted out 13 hits in 31 at-bats, 1 home run and 6 RBIs last week as he posted his .419 batting average.
Ortega is hitting at a .294 mark this season. His stats show 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has played 19 games for the Hellhounds.
