Juárez Earns SL2 Top Pitcher Trophy Friday, May 1st, 2015 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Domingo Juárez, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Rochester Peregrins reliever, 21, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .194 average and walked away with the Sub League 2 Pitcher of the Month award for April. Juárez posted a 1-0 mark and a 1.00 ERA in 8 relief appearances. In 9 innings, he had 5 saves, 9 strikeouts, and 6 walks. |
