Huston Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 It was a sensational day at the plate for Len Huston as he led the charge to a 4-3 win over the City Hawks. The Boise center fielder was pure misery for the Los Altos pitching staff. He left them shellshocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. The manager for the City Hawks told BNN reporters after the game, "Huston put the ball into play. He really hit it hard. When you do that, you've got a pretty good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some pretty good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Len Huston singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Myron Campbell in the 9th and doubled in the 11th. So far this season Huston has put up a .254 batting average with 16 hits, 2 home runs and 6 RBIs. |
