Injury Worsens, Return Delayed For Black Diamonds Michael Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 Ed Michael's return to the Brooklyn Black Diamonds has been delayed. The 34-year-old second baseman has been in treatment for a hamstring strain and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. Upon examination by team doctors they reported that there had been further damage and Michael would not be back as originally diagnosed. He would now be out at least 2 weeks. In 13 games this season Michael has compiled a .339 batting average with 19 hits and 2 home runs. He has also scored 9 times and knocked in 5 runs. |
